Anonymous asked: Does Jesus exist?

From the extensive biblical history background I have- that being the uber genius graduate degree from the world renowned prestigious University of none whatsoever- here is the conclusion I have come to.

It seems Jesus probably was a real historical figure. That being said- I find it extremely unlikely that the traditional “son of god” view is accurate. Water to wine, make the blind see, generally nice guy etc etc. Wouldn’t mind getting a drink with the guy.

I find it more likely that he was a main figurehead in the founding of the Christian religion who likely suffered from some neurological disease. Quite a few articles have been published on the evidence of hallucination-inducing brain tumors. While I don’t call this certain proof of Jesus’ case- I find it much more likely that a guy 3000 years ago had a tumor no one could diagnose and thought he saw god [which by the way has been documented multiple times with the same tumor] rather than a guy who actually spoke to “god”.

One has multiple documented cases, the other, the cause of discourse and chaos all over the world because you say your imaginary friend in the sky said so.

That makes sense to me. If any conflicting evidence comes up- I by all means would be extremely interested to hear it. What do you think?
