So I’m sitting in Washington Square Park watching the fountain rain and eating a really good falafel. Just when the fireflies started blinking their golden little lights my gaze turns to see a man fall down on one knee and propose to his boyfriend. It was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed.
So dear gay couple, thank you for making my night. I don’t believe in a happily ever after but I certainly hope you prove me wrong. Just saying. This was how I spent my night in New York City.
And I was listening to Rachel Maddow talk about the election. Definitely in my top ten nights ever.
